Restaurants & Bars

Le Frangipanier

• Surrounded by coconut palms, Le Frangipanier has a memorable tropical setting. This is the Le Canonnier's main restaurant and serves an American style buffet breakfast. In the evening there is a choice of themed buffets.
• The restaurant also features a separate kids corner with it's own mini-buffet.
• Breakfast is served 0730 to 1000, lunch 1230 to 1500 and dinner 1830 to 2130.

Le Navigateur

• An elegant restaurant housed in an old colonial building. Enjoy lunch or dinner with views out to sea and across to the northern islets.
• A la carte lunch from 1230 to 1430 and dinner, by reservation only, between 1830 and 2130. Seats 120.

Planteur Bar

• Centred in the gardens, Le Planteur has a relaxed, tropical atmosphere. Serves drinks and snacks during the day. Open from 0930 to 2330.

Le Navigateur Bar

• Bar open from 1030 to 0200. From 2330, Le Navigateur becomes a dance floor!

Bob Marlin Mini Club

• All Beachcomber hotels have a free Bob Marlin Mini Club which welcomes children aged 3 - 12. Le Canonnier's miniclub is open from 0900 to 2100, 7 days a week and is housed in an ancient lighthouse.
• The clubs are run by qualified professionals who provide fun, but also educational, indoor and outdoor activities to keep your little ones entertained and happy.
• Every day there is a set activities programme which you can dip in and out of, if you also want to spend some family time together during the day.

Land Sports

• Le Canonnier offers 3 floodlit tennis courts (hard court, Head tennis racket hire is complimentary however tennis balls will need to be purchased), table tennis, volley ball, bocciball and archery which are all complimentary for guests.
• Mountain bikes are also available for hire.

Gym

• The hotel does not have a gym, however, guests are free to use the facilities at Le Mauricia - a 5 minute taxi ride from the hotel.

Water Sports

• Gentle, inviting waters make Mauritius a perfect destination for water activities - waterskiing, windsurfing, sailing, glass bottom boat trips, snorkelling trips, kayaks and pedal boats are all complimentary for guests.
• The hotel also offers free weekly group sailing and windsurfing lessons.

Deep Sea Fishing

• In season, Mauritius offers superb deep sea fishing. There is a fishing charter company just 10 minutes from Le Canonnier. The charters offer half and full day trips on fully equipped specialist fishing boats.

Diving

• Le Canonnier has an on-site PADI affiliated Dive Centre with a comprehensive diving programme. There are a number of decent dive sites within 20 minutes boat ride of the hotel.

Wellness Centre

• Le Canonnier has a fantastic Wellness Centre, which is built in and around the branches of a huge, ancient Banyan Tree. It offers a number of relaxing massage treatments and does offer a double massage cabin.
