A bit about Grand Port District

Slotting into the south-eastern corner of Mauritius, the Grand Port District is named for the bay where Dutch settlers first made landfall. Grand Port Bay and the town of Mahébourg form the district's focal points, fanning out onto a coastline that has collected some of the island's most desirable hotels, drawn to the fabulous green-and-blue coastal landscapes and the vitality of the port.
