A bit about South Ari Atoll

South of the channels of Himendhoo Dhekunukandu and Genburugau Kandu, the historically significant South Ari Atoll was home to some of the earliest Buddhist settlers of The Maldives. Fenfushi Island is home to an ancient mosque, and the waters off the shores of the atoll are a year-round home to whale sharks. Culture-seekers and nature-lovers are sure to find a patch of beachfront to call home in the South Ari Atoll.
