Melissani Cave, Kefalonia

How about a lake, inside a cave, with forest surrounding it? Sounds good for one of the Instagrammables place in Greece, right! This natural beauty is located in Kefalonia and can be reached by boat.

At noon, the sun’s rays enter through a large hole in the roof of the cave, creating a shimmering effect on the lake’s water.

The two chambers that make up the cave are magnificent. With stalactites in the second chamber, it’s a bit darker and eerier than the first chamber.


Rhodes Old Town, Rhodes

Check out this Medieval city, not only for the rich history, but also for the photo ops! The symbol of the city, the Palace of the Grand Masters is an iconic spot.

Sarakiniko beach, Milos
