Included Excursions

One of the most incredible benefits to the Transun Snowmobile Voyager trip is the host of included excursions. These experiences allow you to capture a more immersive and enchanting understanding of this beautifully hostile environment.

The Three Borders Snowmobile Safari

One of the most popular events on this trip, during the half-day adventure you'll have the opportunity to (technically) tick 3 countries off your travel list. Ride your snowmobile out to Three Borders point, where Finland, Norway and Sweden all meet at what is known as the calmest border crossing in the world.

Northern Lights Snowmobile Safari

Kilpisjarvi is on the official Northern Lights Route and probably the best place to spot the natural phenomenon during your trip. So, climb aboard your trusty snowmobile and head out to a remote location where the Aurora Borealis will (hopefully) reveal itself.

Sami Reindeer Experience

The Sami people having been farming reindeer on these frigid lands for centuries. This is your chance to meet a true Sami family and discover their unique way of life. During this 150-minute tour you'll also embark on an 800m sleigh ride as well as getting the opportunity to feed the reindeer.

Arctic Ice Fishing by Snowmobile (4-night holidays only)

On this 90-minute adventure you'll have the opportunity to try your hand at traditional ice fishing. Travelling by snowmobile, you'll head out to a frozen lake - once there drill a hole into the ice, lower your baited hook into the icy water below and see what you can catch.

Optional Excursions (£)

In addition to all those awesome included adventures, you also have the option to add even more excitement to your stay in Lapland. Choose to add any of these excursions on to your trip for an additional fee.

Snowshoe Introduction

Get up close and personal with the enchanting scenery all around you. On this two-hour trip, you'll learn how to negotiate the challenging Arctic Circle terrain they same way people have been doing for centuries.

Northern Lights Snowshoes

If you've mastered the snowshoe (or even if you haven't) you can now take them out on a longer jaunt through the frozen countryside. Except this time you'll be heading into the forest in search of the illusive Aurora Borealis.

Ice Fishing by Snowmobile

Travel out to a frozen lake on your snowmobile where you will stop to hand drill a whole in the ice. Once you've done that, you can then drop your baited hook into the frigid waters and fish the same way the Sami people have been for centuries.

Glass Cabin in a Reindeer Reserve

Probably one of the most iconic things to do in the Arctic Circle, if you're staying for 4 nights, you can have the opportunity to add a night under the stars in a glass cabin to your itinerary. These magical log cabins feature a glass roof over the bedroom, so you can watch the stars (and hopefully catch the Northern Lights) from the comfort and warmth of your bed.
