Day one
You’ll be greeted at the airport by the resort’s specialist concierge before being whisked away to your Pavilions paradise. Take some time to get to know you surroundings and settle into complete bliss in the resort.
Day two
The ultimate nature lovers’ trip. Begin the adventure by exploring Jatiluwih rice terraces, a UNESCO world heritage site. Next stop is the sacred site of Mount Batukaru, located at an altitude of over 2,000 meters above sea level and surrounded by century-old natural forest. After all that exploration, it’s time to refresh and refuel at one of the area’s panoramic restaurants.
Day Three
The resort’s head butler Pak Mull takes you through his native village and traditional Balinese family compound. Stay for lunch before witnessing daily village life, including work in the rice plantation. Then head back to Pavilions for a soothing massage to flush away any soreness from those couple of days of adventure.
Day Four
Start your day with some realignment therapy for your mind, body, and soul in an inspirational Yin Yang Yoga session for two. After that energising beginning, head to the island’s southernmost point to discover the magic of the Bukit Peninsula and Uluwatu Temple. Trek up to the amphitheatre for a special Kecak show to end the day.
Day five
Spend a morning taking a dip in the waters of the hidden Tegenungan waterfall before heading for Goa Gajah, known as the Elephant Cave, to explore this sacred Hindu site in the afternoon. Round off the whole experience back at the hotel by sampling the “Heaven On Earth Menu”.

The Spiritual West
Head out on an excursion of discovery into the west of Bali. Culminating in an eye-opening tour of stunning Tana Lot, a temple built atop a rock in the Bali Sea, this excursion take you to some of the most iconic and revered sites in Indonesia.
The Enchanted South
Make the journey south and discover the beauty of the Bukit peninsula. Venture to Uluwatu and take in the breath-taking views out over the sparkling Indian Ocean. Then take the chance to see an amazing ‘fire dance’ at the amphitheatre to a sizzling sunset backdrop. Round off the whole experience with a BBQ on the beach.
The Scenic West
Camera’s at the ready, if you’re a sucker for some spectacular scenery then this is the excursion for you. Grab some snaps of the iconic Jatiluwih rice terraces before heading up to Batu Karu over 2,000m above sea level, for some more extra-special panoramas.
The Creative Heart
This tour will see you head for the creative hub of Ubud. Expect monkeys, markets, and palaces on this fun-filled excursion. The perfect opportunity to spy some incredible wildlife and indulge in some retail therapy.
The Northern Lakes
Water babies unite as you head out for the lake district of Bedugul. From lakes to waterfalls and mountains, the scenery on this tour is not to be missed, here you have the perfect opportunity to see classic Bali away from the beaches and shops.
The Wild East
Forget about the wild west, the east is where it’s at in Bali. Although you wont find any cowboys here, but there’s plenty of rural living. Spend some time with the indigenous Bali Aga and witness their ancient way of life.

Suite accommodation Now we know we originally said this was a tale of two resorts. However, there is a third option when it comes to staying pulling up a pew in The Pavilions. At the Phuket resort there’s also the option to stay at The Pavilions Suites. You get the benefit of using the Pavilions Phuket amenities, but the added bonus of rooming in a spacious suite. The Pavilions Suites are another element of the Thai resort which seeks to dial up the comfort even further. The larger suites deliver more of a home-from-home vibe for your stay. Separate living, dining and bedrooms add spacious elegance to your stay. Alongside the palatial space inside your suite you’ll also be treated to those gorgeous views out over the verdant Phuket hills. Although, the green-fingered amongst you may want to trade those hilly views for that of the blooming resort gardens. Bali accommodation Comparatively, the Bali resort boasts all-villa accommodation which just screams elegance. The contemporary styling and accessories keep it very much in the present. But the classic touches of Balinese design make it truly special. Sample anything from a chilled breakfast in your villa to afternoon tea and even a Picasso dessert table – delicious edible art. Let’s talk Plantation Club Mealtimes at The Pavilions Phuket and The Pavilions Suites are an event. Especially when you choose to pull up a chair at The Plantation Club. Because it’s only minutes from Sanur, you could also easily take a short walk or transfer from the resort into town. We recommend sampling all the culinary delights of Jalan Panau Doso.
