Rooms & Villa Suites

Sugar Beach offers 258 guest rooms and suites. All rooms have their own private patio or balcony complete with easy chair, Ottoman and day bed.
They are provided with fully stocked mini-bars, luggage racks, tea and coffee making facilities and LCD flat-screen TVs. Satellite television provides international news, sports and entertainment, as well as kids’ channels in English, French, German and Italian.

Rooms also have international direct-dial telephones, Wi-Fi internet access (charged extra) electronic room safes, hairdryers, individually controlled air-conditioning, electrical shaver points (110/220 volts) and desks with a full range of international electrical plug sockets. Irons and ironing boards are available on request.

Standard Room

• Standard rooms have bath-with-shower and toilet. 29 of them have two queen-sized beds that can accommodate two adults and two children under 12 sharing with parents, or two adults and a third person above 12 years old.
• There is also 1 Standard room specially equipped for handicapped guests. (40m2).

Superior Room

• Superior rooms have separate bath, stand-up rain shower cubicle, separate toilet and a larger vanity. 47 of them are furnished with two queen-sized beds. Cots are also available. (40 m2).
• Both standard and superior rooms have either twin or king-sized beds and can accommodate two adults and an extra bed for either a third adult or child sharing. Cots and are available upon request connecting rooms are provided in all room types. However, extra beds are not possible in the Villa Suites.

Restaurants

Mon Plaisir

• The main restaurant proposes full English and continental breakfast buffet available from 7.30 a.m until 10.30a.m, while evenings feature themed live cooking and cosmopolitan buffet dinners.

Tides Restaurant

• The beach front restaurant offers a world seafood cuisine for lunch and dinner. Guests can compose their own platter from the elaborate and spectacular centerpiece counter.
• At lunch, Tides also prepares light poolside meals that can be ordered with refreshments from its bar. And for those wanting to enjoy a meal or drink in the privacy of their own thatched umbrellas along the beach, the Beach Trolley will come their way.

Citronella’s Cafe

• Citronella’s Café offers, in an Italian market-place setting and ambience by the ocean side. Light meals are served, featuring wood-fire baked pizzas and salads at lunch time and authentic regional Italian cuisine at dinner.
• The adjacent bar serves refreshments and aperitifs throughout the day.

Paul & Virginie Restaurant

• Located within walking distance at neighbour resort La Pirogue, this restaurant features under its romantic thatched pavilions an ‘à la carte’ menu: for lunch - a selection of popular island cuisine, wood-fire baked pizzas, grilled, smoked or steamed fare, tossed salads and sandwiches; for dinner, more sophisticated dishes and select seafood.

In-room Dining

• In-room dining for private enjoyment Room service is available 24 hours-a-day for continental breakfasts in the privacy of your patio or light meals and beverages throughout the day.

Bars

Tides Bar

• Tides Bar is stocked with an impressive variety of international beverages and mixing the finest plantation rum cocktails, from which refreshments are served at lunch time.
• It also offers a great traditional five-o’clock tea, with cakes, pancakes before turning into a sophisticated night spot with live music and entertainment and dancing to the resident DJ.

Mon Plaisir Bar

• The bar, inspired by French pavement cafés, stretches out onto an adjacent garden court area featuring an authentic craft market and staging live street evening entertainment.
• It opens daily from 4.00 a.m for guests on early departure or going out fishing. It also serves aperitifs and offers a superb selection of old rums, malt whiskies, single barrel bourbons and Havana cigars.

Sports Bar

• Located at the tennis courts, the bar offers refreshments for tennis players and sports enthusiasts. Meet there to watch international sport on a large flat screen TV.
• Open daily from 10 a.m until late.

Citronella’s Bar

• Adjacent Citronella’s Café, the bar serves aperitifs on an outdoor deck before both lunch and dinner. It is also available for refreshments for guests using the nearby boat house.

Beach Trolley Bar

• A beach cart provides refreshments and light snacks along the beach for guests to enjoy in the privacy of their own thatched parasols.

Family & Kids

Sun Kids Club

• Sun Kids Club is free for all children from 2-11 years and provides world-class attractions including exciting, ultra cool and imaginative daily fun programmes, age-appropriate activities, facilities and amenities, twelve hours a day.
• Members can enjoy golf, tennis, windsurfing and swimming clinics as well as environmental excursions with a focus on educational enrichment throughout their stay.

For teens

• @Sungeneration offers free membership for 12-17 year olds who can enjoy a special programme of sports and recreation as well as adventure outings and excursions.
• Regular evening get togethers are organised including beach BBQs around a campfire or a Pizza night at Citronella’s Café, our Italian restaurant. Our Sports Bar, which includes video games, music TV, pool and its own DJ, converts to one of the coolest night time venues on the island.

On the Land

• Sugar Beach offers an impressive range of sports, namely martial arts, interactive spinning classes, aerobics, steps, stretching, yoga, cardio and vibro gym as well as Pilates, Personal trainers are available on request at extra charge. It is also possible to practice horse riding and mountain biking.
• Preferential access to Le Touessrok Golf Course at discounted green fees (designed by Bernhard Langer and located Ile aux Cerfs) and Tamarina Golf Club (being 15 minutes away from the resort, whereby preferential green fees are applicable).
• The resort has six floodlit tennis courts, with available equipment and proposes table tennis, badminton, volleyball, mini-football, bocciball and frisbee. The Sports bar includes video games, music TV, pool tables and converts to one of the coolest night time teen spots, with its own DJ!
• The Main Pool, 2000 m³, and surrounding decks offer fun and relaxation for all ages. It consists of a relaxing bubble pool and separated kids’ area. The South Pool, located in a quieter area is ideal for more restful moments.
